Easton [Eston], Peter (English)(c.1608) - commanded ships from Ireland, raiding Dutch and English shipping in the Bristol Channel, retired wealthy

Eaton, John (English)(c.1683) - operated in the Atlantic and Pacific, worked with John Cook and Edward Davis before heading to Indonesia, sighted March 1686 near Djakarta, Indonesia, he eventually returned to England

El Mulato, Diego (Unknown)(c.1639) -

Eldrige, John (Unknown)() - suspected pirate, apprehended with 1,600 pieces of eight, 249 pieces of silver plate, 20 Arab gold coins, 1 gold box, 200 broken pieces of coin, 2 pounds of amber beads, 10 pieces of muslin, 1 piece of flowered satin, 30 pounds of spices and 1 African boy

Elfrith, Daniel (English)(c.1614) - worked as a privateer captain for the Earl of Warwick, based in Providence Island (not New Providence) and Tortuga Island

Eliot, Lawrence (British)(c.1580) - crewman with Francis Drake on his round the world journey

Emo, Pietro (Italian)(c.1584) - from Venice, raided Turkish shipping, beheaded by Venetians to avoid war with Turks

England, Edward [Seegar] (English)(d.1720) portrait flag - operated mostly off the coast of Africa and in the East Indies

Escrainville, Jacques de Joinville (Unknown)(c.1664) - Knight of Malta

Esquemeling, John (Dutch)(c.1645-1700) -

Essex, Cornelius (English)(c.1679) - sailed out of Port Royal, invaded Panama with Bartholomew Sharp, died in capture of Portobello

Eustace the Monk (French)(d.1217) - raided England, reputed to have had magical powers

Evans, John (Welsh)(c.1722) - short career in the Caribbean

Evans, Micijah (English)(c.1696) - Philadelphia laborer, signed on with William Kidd

Everson, Jacob (Dutch)(c.1680) - captured by ship from Jamaica (as ordered by Henry Morgan), several of the crew were hanged, Everson escaped and continued to raid in the Caribbean

Every, Henry (English)(c.1653-1696) - [aka John Avery, Long Ben, Benjamin Bridgeman] born circa 1653, Cat Down, Plymouth, England, died after 1696, Bideford, Devon, operated in Indian Ocean, captured Indian mogul's ship Gang i Sawai

Exquemelin, Alexander Oliver (French)(1645-1707) - buccaneer and author providing one of the few eyewitness accounts of the exploits of the buccaneers in the Caribbean
