Inglis, Peter (English?)(c.1797) - captain of a West Indiaman (carrying as letter of marque, so technically a privateer), the Cumberland, captured off the Irish coast by Commodore La Crosse in the 74 gun Droits de l'Homme
Irish, William (English)(c.1587) - from the Isle of Wight, made several raids on the West Indies for Sir George Carey
Isidorus (Cilician)(d.72 BC) - raided eastern Mediterranean, killed in battle with Roman Lucullus
Isola, Ferrando Dell' (Italian)(c.1497) - raided Christian and Muslim shipping off North Africa
Ita, Pieter (Dutch)(c.1628) - raided Spanish shipping and colonies for the Dutch West Indies Company
