Paine, Thomas (English)(b.1632, d.1715) - arch pirate and model citizen of Rhode Island

Pardal, Manoel Rivero (Portuguese)(c.1670) - raided English settlements in the Caymans and on Jamaica

Parker, William (British)(d.1617) -

Pell, Ignatius (British)(c.1717) - boatswain for Stede Bonnet. One of several pardoned for testifying against Bonnet and others of the crew.

Perraud, Jacques (French)(c.1801) - captain of the privateer Bellone of St. Malo, operated in the Indian Ocean

Phillips, John (British)(d.1724) - carpenter to Anstis, Phillips set out on his own, but never attained any great successes - he finally died when his crew mutinied

Pike, Robert (British)(c.1573) - crew member with Francis Drake, noted as having been in the brandy prior to spoiling ambush of Spanish gold caravan, recuas, near Venta de Chagre

Pointis, Baron de (Unknown)() -

Pompeius, Sextus (Roman)(67-36 BC) - son of pirate hunter Pompey the Great, he turned pirate to combat his rival Octavian - from a base in Sicily he raided Italy until defeated by Octavian

Portuguez, Bartholomeo (Portuguese)(c.1650) - buccaneer
