You, Dominique [Youx, Frederic] (Unknown)(d.1830) - Jean Lafitte's most trusted lieutenant (and rumored to have been his brother), born in Port-au-Prince, Santo Domingo, rumored to have been an artillerist under Napoleon, fought with distinction at the battle of New Orleans. His grave stone reads: This warrior bold on land and rolling sea, in hundred battles proved his bravery. Nor had this pure and fearless Bayard known one tremor, though the world were overthrown.
