David Marteen (Dutch) (c.1663) - worked with John Morris and Henry Morgan, fled Jamaica at news of war between the British and Dutch, but returned when he received word that the Jamaican governor welcomed pirates of all nationalities.

May, William (British) (1689-1699) - sailed with Henry Avery on the Fancy, abandoned as sick on Johanna in the Comoros chain, might have returned to ship when Avery returned eight weeks later

Maze, William (c.1695) - captain of the Pearl from Rhode Island, raided the Mocha fleet

Mead, Henry (English) (c.1696) - experienced seaman or officer, signed on with William Kidd

Richard Minivy (English) (d.1578) - crew with Francis Drake, died near the town of Coquimbo at about 30° South, killed by the Spanish during a brief fight, his body was beheaded among other mutilations
